Mars Hill Dialogues DVDs
Laidlaw College introduced a new free public lecture series called Mars Hill Dialogues. Inspired by the conversation Paul had with the Athenians (Acts 17:22, KJV), this series digs deeper into how we approach the application of our theology to the culture of our time.

POP
Over four nights, this series looked at popular music, movie and literature phenomena like U2, Watchmen, Johnny Cash, Westwing and the classic works of Dostoyevsky. This series will be great for church groups or home groups who want to tackle what it means to engage with the culture in which we live – without being swallowed up by it.
This eight-disk series will examine the following topics:
- Disk 1 & 2 – Dialoguing with the Rock Star who dialogues with God
- Disk 3 & 4 – Dialoguing with the Writer who questions God
- Disk 5 & 6 – Dialoguing with the President who rages at God
- Disk 7 & 8 – Dialoguing with the Singer who cries out to God
Special Note: Laidlaw College has decided to give away the POP DVD series as a teaching tool, free of charge. A shipping fee of NZ$10.00 will be charged however, and orders will be limited to one set per person. If you wish to make a donation towards production costs, you may do so when ordering your DVDs. If you have already purchased your DVDs and have not yet received them, we will refund your payment, minus the NZ$10.00 shipping fee.

Theology for Life – Text, soul, and culture as an integrated whole
In Theology for Life we continue the big picture ethos of the Wineskin Talks.
Like the previous series, we base everything on Jesus of Nazareth, whose life changed life forever. So how now do we think of God in light of Jesus? Or of being human? Or of what God is up to in the world? Of relationship, community, and society? Environment, architecture, and economics? And, as our minds are renewed, how ought we to live?

- Disk 2 – Three Big Ideas
- Disk 3 – The brilliant image of God
