Drs Jack and Judith Balswick at Laidlaw

Professors Jack and Judy Balswick, both recently retired from Fuller Seminary, have arrived at Laidlaw and will be living on the Auckland campus for the next six weeks. The Balswicks have taught and written widely on issues of theology and marriage, family, sexuality, pastoral leadership and care. The book “The Reciprocating Self”, co-authored by Jack Balswick, is a text in our Counselling degree. We believe their presence among us will be a highlight of Laidlaw’s educational year. The Balswicks will meet with students and staff, teach, mentor, eat meals, pray with us, and speak at the upcoming Alumni gatherings in both Auckland and Christchurch.
