Princeton Fellowship for Nicola Hoggard Creegan

Nicola Hoggard Creegan has been granted a visiting fellowship at the Center for Theological Inquiry in Princeton for nine months beginning in September 2012. This is funded by the Templeton Foundation as part of a three-year exploration of issues in science and theology. For the period that she is in Princeton, Nicola will be one of eleven fellows who will be working on aspects of a theological understanding of human nature in the light of contemporary scientific understandings. Nicola will be working on an understanding of human freedom.

The granting of this fellowship is a considerable honour and we are delighted and proud that Nicola has this opportunity to add to the work that she has already done in fostering the important conversation between science and theology both in New Zealand and internationally.
