About Wendy Fowler
Wendy has extensive teaching experience in a range of educational roles. She has been a pre-school teacher, a primary school teacher, Head Teacher of a secondary school and of a primary school, as well as a Deputy Principal. She has taught in both private and state schools in South Africa, Botswana and New Zealand. She has a Bachelor of Primary Education and an Honours degree in history. She studied through UNISA in South Africa and has been a resident of New Zealand for over 10 years. She currently lectures in the areas of English, Social Studies, Maths and the Visual Arts. Wendy is married to Craig and they have one son, Stuart. Her research interests are focussed on issues relating to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
