Being Well: Supporting mental health across childhood, adolescence, and in to adulthood
– Counselling Workshop

The various ways in which people can experience mental health challenges are becoming increasingly visible in our communities. As our awareness of what it means to be living with these challenges increases, it is important that we also develop our knowledge and skills in how we might support people in these journeys.

This morning of workshops is for pastoral carers, youth workers, community workers, or anyone with a particular interest in supporting people in this way. There will be three workshops, each focussing on a particular life stage (childhood, adolescence, adulthood). In each workshop we will explore common mental health challenges and the different, age appropriate ways, in which we can support others.

Please note, these taster workshops are not intended as professional development for counselling practitioners.
