Supporting those who are suffering
Counselling Workshops - Henderson

Whether in family, church or wider communities, relationships are the critical place where we experience and share God’s love for humanity.

The faculty of Laidlaw’s School of Social Practice invite you to a morning of workshops which will give you a variety of resources to support your work in church or community contexts, with a particular focus on how to journey with people during difficult times. The workshops will be practical and interactive, and are aimed at pastors, pastoral care workers and those involved in youth or community work. We would love you to forward this email on to anyone you think would benefit from these workshops.

TOPICS COVERED:

  • Trauma
  • Sexual Abuse
  • Grief
  • Self Care

Please note, these taster workshops are not intended as professional development for counselling practitioners.
