Christ among the gods: Thinking Christianly about world religions

Lecturer: Dr Bob Robinson

Dr Bob RobinsonEach week will firstly set out biblical and Christian foundations for understanding religion and the religions. These will then be applied to a factual and fair understanding of: (1) ‘primal’ religion, (2) Hinduism old and new, (3) Buddhism old and new, (4) popular ‘spirituality’ in NZ, (5) Islam old and new. The approach will be Bible-based, Christ-centred, and balanced, but not naïve or fearful. The aim of the course is to build bridges not barriers.
