Sustain - Women in Leadership meeting (Christchurch)

Conversation on Leadership with Leah Menage

Sustain is a network of Christian women in leadership. Our aim is to link women leaders together, offering support, strength, encouragement and companionship as we journey together. Guest speakers are invited to share their leadership experiences at Sustain meetings in Auckland and Christchurch, held four times a year.

About our Speaker

Leah MenageKia ora, I’m Leah Menage. I’m forty-eight, married to Roger we live in North Canterbury and both serve at St Barnabas Parish in Woodend. I am passionate about my work as a counsellor at Te Puna Oranga, an organisation specialising in sexual violence prevention. With strong iwi connections and links within the Maori community, I represent Ngai Tahu, attending leadership conferences, business awards, meeting national and international dignitaries. I was recently nominated as Te Waipounamu’s area representative for the Maori Women’s Welfare League. I am passionate about my faith and making meaningful connections, a social butterfly and foodie who enjoys travel, cultural experiences, fine dining and a good home cooked roast with whanau.

Any woman involved in a leadership role, or heading that way, is most welcome to join us.
