Watch Now: Lessons on Diversity and Cultural Intelligence

At a public lecture in July, renowned New Testament scholar, Dr Darrell Bock spoke on the topic Lessons on Diversity and Cultural Intelligence. In his role as Executive Director of Cultural Engagement at Dallas Theological Seminary, as well as senior research professor of NT studies, Dr Bock was well placed to reflect on the seminary’s journey towards developing leaders who will be serving in churches which are becoming a lot more ethnically diverse than they used to be.

While Dr Bock speaks out of his experiences in a US context, there are lessons which cross country borders.  He makes the point that the church can show a powerful example to the world when people of different backgrounds, including those with a history of conflict with each other, can worship and work alongside each other – giving a glimpse of Revelation 5-7!
