Programme Delivery Administrator - Christchurch
The Opportunity
Are you an experienced administrator with a dedication to detail, a heart for students, and a passion for education? Due to growth, Laidlaw College is looking for a Programme Delivery Administrator to join our Christchurch campus team. This is a full time on campus position, reporting to our Programme Delivery Lead and working closely with our Christchurch Campus Coordinator.
In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth delivery of our academic programmes. You’ll provide administrative support across student admissions, course enrolments, and our student and learning management systems, helping students and staff navigate the academic year with confidence and efficiency. This is a dynamic, front-facing role with lots of opportunity for face-to-face engagement with students, staff, and our wider community.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Responding to general admissions enquiries from walk-ins and calls to the Christchurch campus.
- Coordinating admissions interviews and entrance tests for our programmes.
- Assisting with course selection and enrolment to ensure students are on track to meet their programme requirements.
- Providing local general LMS (Moodle) support and training to Christchurch-based faculty and students
- Operating as a first point of contact for troubleshooting technical issues onsite
- Supporting front desk operations, creating a welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors
Who We’re Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience working in tertiary environments with learning and student management systems is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Great interpersonal skills – friendly, confident, and professional.
- Strong time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- A proactive, detail-focused approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Solid IT skills – particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database systems.
