On Monday 20 January we welcomed the first students for the one-year Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary) - our brand new Programme in Teacher Education.

This one-year Graduate Diploma provides a professional qualification in secondary teaching that is recognised by the Teaching Council.  Graduates of the programme can teach in Secondary schools (state, private and integrated) and also in intermediate and middle schools in Aotearoa New Zealand.

We are thrilled to have the unique opportunity at Laidlaw to prepare students for the teaching profession centred on a theology of hope, enabling them to find their place in reflecting this hope and fostering a heart for humanity that will transform our next generation.
