E Laidlaw whānau,

We hope you and your household are doing okay in the middle of the storms.

We’ve heard from a number in our community who have been affected by flooding. If you also find yourself in this situation, and need help, our friends at VisionWest have put together a helpful list of services here.

The Ministry of Education has advised that tertiary campuses in Auckland must close ‘for physical onsite attendance and instruction until Friday’, to minimise the number of people on the roads. For Laidlaw, this means our Henderson and Manukau campuses will be closed until 7 February. 



Year 3 BEd students, and Counselling students who were planning to come to either campus this week, will have received an email, or will receive one soon, outlining new arrangements. The Library will also be closed.  

We’re praying for all affected by the floods and hope you stay safe and warm. We look forward to welcoming you to Laidlaw in person for the new semester very soon.
