Laidlaw College is delighted to announce the appointment of Rev Dr Pennie Togiatama as our incoming Head of Education. A proud Niuean, Pennie holds a Doctorate in Education from the University of Auckland and a Masters in Professional Studies. Her career spans roles as Deputy Principal at Manurewa High School, Associate Principal at Kelston Girls’ College, and Senior Advisor at the Ministry of Education. She is currently a Senior Lecturer at Manukau Institute of Technology, teaching into their ITE programmes and working as a leadership advisor to schools. She is an ordained Presbyterian Minister, with experience pastoring in Pasifika contexts and as a volunteer chaplain in prisons and at Polyfest.
