Charles has a background in electrical engineering within the telecommunications industry. He has an MDiv from Denver Seminary and an MTh from the Laidlaw Graduate School. Charles, with his wife Gwen, spent some years in pastoral ministry before joining the teaching staff of Laidlaw College in Palmerston North in 2001. He assumed leadership of Laidlaw’s Distance Learning in 2003 and also taught a variety of subjects at both the Henderson and Manukau campuses. Charles currently works as Director of Personnel Services at Interserve NZ. Charles and Gwen have two adult daughters, and currently worship at the Rhythms of Grace Church.
