Fia joined the Student Experience team at Laidlaw College in October 2024. In her role as Student Experience Advisor she provides academic and pastoral support to our Distance Learning and Pasifika students as they journey from enrolment to graduation. 

She completed her BA at the University of Auckland, majoring in Education and Sociology, and graduated in May 2024. She then worked as a Life and Identity Services Officer for the Department of Internal Affairs for about three months before pursuing her calling at Laidlaw College!

Fia was born in Samoa and raised in West Auckland. She is a member of the New Lynn Samoan Seventh-Day Adventist Church and is passionate about engaging with her youth group through sports, Bible studies, and other youth events. Outside of work, she enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with her family.
