- All December 2018 graduations (no ceremony): 30 October 2018
- All April 2019 graduations ceremonies: 28 February 2019
- All April 2019 graduations (no ceremony): 28 February 2019
If you are attending the graduation ceremony then you are required to hire your own academic dress.
Please check that you have completed all the requirements of your qualification. If you have completed, or expect to complete, your qualification in the current semester, you need to check with your faculty that you have met the requirements for your particular programme.
The Graduation ceremony for our Christchurch campus will be held on Friday 14 December 2018.

What to wear to graduation (Academic Dress Hire)
Formal dress is required (including a tie). An academic gown is NOT worn.
A Diploma gown must be hired and worn over formal dress. Laidlaw College provides a hood. A mortar board is NOT worn.
A Bachelor’s gown and mortar board (trencher) must be hired and worn over formal dress. Laidlaw College provides a hood. GradDip graduands are NOT required to wear the hood from their undergraduate degree.
A Master’s gown and mortar board (trencher) must be hired and worn over formal dress. Laidlaw College provides a hood.
