Hazel Tattersall Graduate Teaching Assistant (Theology)

Hazel is a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the School of Theology, based at the Henderson campus.

Hazel completed a BA in English and Writing Studies (specialising in Creative Writing) through the University of Waikato (2019), and a BTh in Biblical Studies through Laidlaw College (2021). She completed a MTh through Laidlaw in 2024. Her MTh thesis focussed on understanding the imagination through Christology.

She is currently engaged in doctoral research in Systematic Theology. Her research considers imagination and the arts in the light of Trinitarian theology.

Hazel grew up in Kenya as part of a missionary family and moved to New Zealand in 2008. She is married to Jeremy, and they attend Lincoln Road Bible Chapel.
