Kia ora koutou, Laidlaw whānau,

We hope you’re keeping dry and warm as we wait for Cyclone Gabrielle to fully arrive. As a College team, we’re praying for all of you – for safety, a deep sense of peace, and for God’s presence (as He continually promises) amidst the storm.

The current forecast is that the wind and rain will be very heavy tomorrow, and so we are taking the pre-emptive measure of keeping the Laidlaw campuses in Auckland (Henderson and Manukau) closed tomorrow (Monday 13 February, 2023). Staff will be working from home, and everything that can will move online.

Please take care, and keep an eye on your emails for any updates as the situation unfolds. We hope that this is the last disruption this year, as we are looking forward to welcoming you, our new and returning students, back to campus next week for pōwhiri and orientation.
