The Opportunity

Due to the departure of a valued team member, we have an exciting opportunity for a Postgraduate Administrator (Theology) to join our Programme Delivery team based in Henderson.

As our Postgraduate Administrator (Theology), you will contribute to the smooth operation of Laidlaw College’s postgraduate programmes, including Laidlaw’s Graduate School programme administration and the postgraduate student experience. You will report to the Schools Administration Coordinator, and work with a wide range of stakeholders across the College. This role is 20 hours a week with some flexibility possible around specific working days and hours.

The focus of your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting postgraduate students with enquiries, enrolments, and research proposals.
  • Coordinating meetings and minutes for the School of Theology Postgraduate Committee.
  • Coordinating examination, grading and moderation for our postgraduate courses.
  • Organising research seminars, events, and block courses for postgraduate students

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective time management, planning and organisational abilities.
  • Creativity and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and databases.
  • A commitment to Laidlaw’s vision and mission.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or higher level qualification.
