Special Edition of Stimulus - Call for Papers
This is a call for papers for a special edition of Stimulus focused on the COVID-19 pandemic, the past, the present, and the future.
We are looking for theological articles, of 1500-3000 words reflecting quality scholarship but shaped in a way that can speak into the church in this time of challenge. We also invite theologically thoughtful poems and creative pieces reflecting on the situation.
Contributions can include biblical studies, theology, ethics, practical theology, history, cultural perspectives, media, worship, mission, and any other area of thought the crisis impacts.
Equally, we welcome contributions from the fields of Counselling and Education that relate to the present crisis.
These will be single blind peer reviewed. We are looking for quick turnaround so that it is published by early to mid-May.
- The deadline for articles is Sunday April 19.
- Please send contributions to Mark Keown ([email protected])
About Stimulus:

As its name implies, Stimulus provides provocative and challenging material for thoughtful readers, drawing on a wide variety of material, from authors outside of Laidlaw College, as well as from our own faculty.
