LAIDLAW’S AUCKLAND GRADUATION CEREMONY CANCELLED

Laidlaw College’s Auckland Graduation ceremony scheduled for 4 April 2020 has been cancelled due to the current restrictions on large gatherings. This includes Graduation connected events – the Pasifika Graduands’ dinner on 21 March, and the pre-Graduation evening on 3 April.

We are deeply disappointed to have to do this, as we love celebrating students’ achievements, but we are prioritising the wellbeing of our whānau and communities at this time.

We hope to reschedule the ceremony later this year, and will communicate with graduands once the situation becomes clearer.

Notes to graduands:

  • All graduands will be awarded their qualification and posted their certificate in April. We would love our graduands to be part of a future graduation ceremony and all will still be able to do that, even though certificates are being awarded now.
  • If your postal address has changed since you applied to graduate, please email your updated address to [email protected]
  • If you have ordered your academic dress through Academic Dress Hire they will be contacting you directly by email concerning that.

The faculty and community at Laidlaw offer their warmest congratulations to all our graduands. We know that every student graduating has put in immense effort and faithful sacrifice to get this far, and that the achievement represents the support and encouragement of a wider community. We are grateful to God for all that our graduands have accomplished at Laidlaw College, and look forward to seeing how God works through each one as they go out to “renew their community with a faith as intelligent as it is courageous.”
